These are the official rules of this forum.
I ask that every member follow these. They have been created to make this forum a friendly and fun environment for everyone!
Neon Blue = 1 strike, if this rule is broken. More can be given if it is serious.
Blue = Warning, 2nd offense = 1 strike

General
1. Do not post sexual or hateful content anywhere in the site.
2. Avoid excessive profanity. The occasional minor swear word is OK, but please keep it to a minimum. There shouldn't be a need anyway, because warriors terminology substitutes for these.
3. There are no rules against post templates (BBC code in posts, like signatures and font colors), just make sure they follow the current rules, no swearing or anything like that, and don't make the post an eyesore to look at like this.
4. Respect the opinions of others. Everyone has their likes and dislikes.
5. Be friendly. Talk to new members and people who seem lonely.
6. Do not harass or bully members.
7. Try not to spam. Keep a limit of 2 posts in a row.
8. The only kind of advertising allowed here is "link trading", where you put a link to our forum somewhere on your site, and we put a link to your forum in ours. PM Dovestar to do so.
(I'm going to make a place for advertising this way eventually).
Roleplay
1. Be realistic. Don't make rainbow cats, cats with horns/wings, cats with powers, etc.
2. Don't teleport around the world. If your cat is traveling, they must go through everything between point a and b.
3. Don't godmode, power play, etc. Everyone's character is probably special to them. Don't just go and attack someone's character without their permission, and if your in a battle, give the person a chance to react.
4. When talking out of character (OOC), use parenthesis. This helps solve confusion between OOC and IC (In Character).
5. Try to make sure what you post won't make people uncomfortable, like descriptive birth or a gory death. This doesn't apply if its a minor or ridiculous thing to complain about.
6. You can only have one high-rank, to make it fair. I ask that high-ranks be active to help move roleplay along. At least once a week is acceptable. If you are going to be a way for a while, please pm ~Dovestar~ so that you are excused.
7. Follow the Warrior Code. Unless you want your cat punished by the leader, I'd do this. (You won't get banned for this, don't worry)
8. Don't copy cats from the books exactly. This means you can't be a cat from the books. Someone named Fireheart, for example, is fine, but they can't be Firestar from the books.
10. No excessive gore. Blood is fine, but don't get descriptive if a cat is hit by a monster...
11. There's a maximum of 3 cats per clan per person, to prevent overflowing of the allegiences.
12. Please try to make sure your kit isn't abandoned or has a troubling background story. At least one parent has to be played by another member.
(This forum is new so the second half of rule 12 isn't valid)
13. Roleplay posts are a minimum length of two or three sentences. Give others something to respond to!
Punishments
On this forum, we have a "Three Strikes, your out" system.
A member can receive multiple strikes if the rule they've broken was a serious one, or if it was a really really bad scenario.
Minor rules broken are just a reminder, and you don't get a strike (Most roleplay rules).
Keep in mind the staff of this site will never ask for personal information for any reason.
When the rules are altered significantly, like a rule is changed, added, or deleted, this will be stated in the announcements thread. Check the announcement thread often.
